Asharqia Chamber presents you with its best regards and informs you that it has received a letter from the Council of Saudi Chambers No. (42101937) and the date (12/29/2020 AD), referred to in the Ministry of Commerce letter No. (24202) dated (9/5/1442) and attached to the telegram received to the Ministry from His Excellency the Minister of Economy and Planning in charge of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Authority for Statistics No. ( 71024) and the date (6/5/1442), referred to as the Royal Circular No. (35668) dated (7/8/1438), which includes approval for government agencies to provide the General Authority for Statistics with the statistical data required to calculate the gross domestic product and to the decision of the Council Ministers No. (11) dated (1/13/1437), the judge approving the organization of the General Authority for Statistics, which is included in Article Four that the Authority is the authority concerned with statistics and that it is the only official reference for the implementation of statistical work, its organizer, and its technical supervisor, and it has the authority to investigate Its objectives are to collect data and information from administrative records in public entities and private establishments, and given that the authority intends to implement the tourism facilities survey for the year 2019 (collecting data electronically).
According to the Ministry's request, the council hopes that the tourism establishments and concerned parties will cooperate with the authority to implement the aforementioned survey and facilitate the task to complete the data required in the survey form within the time period specified by them.
